Julia Grignon is a professor at the Faculty of Law of Université Laval, where she teaches international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and international refugee law.
She is one of the co-directors of the International Criminal and Humanitarian Law Clinic (ICCHR) and a co-founder of Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche sur l’Afrique et le Moyen Orient (CIRAM, Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Africa and the Middle East). She also directs Osons le DIH, a partnership for the promotion and strengthening of international humanitarian law
At Université Laval, she is also a member of the Canadian Partnership for International Justice. Professor Grignon is a member of the scientific advisory council of Institut de Recherche Stratégique de l’École militaire (France) and Société Québécoise de Droit International (Québec Society for International Law).
