Cercle Europe

Cercle Europe aims to stimulate reflection on and interest in European issues in the university community and the greater Québec City area.

Objectives

Focus interest on issues related to Europe, its member countries, integration structures, history, economic development, and cultural and social challenges and issues. Bring together various UL actors and partners, as well as individuals and organizations outside the university who are interested in Europe, and provide a forum for them to meet, discuss, reflect, and take meaningful initiatives.  Over the longer term, generate research projects.

Activities

Cercle Europe organizes lunchtime talks, discussion forums, and other gatherings. For example, Ateliers Schuman brings together international experts specializing in the European Union and, more broadly, the construction of Europe.
